Position Summary:
The Hydraulic Design Engineer is responsible for managing sales and service inquiries for production series machines and their variants, ensuring accurate order checks and maintaining production machine data. This role involves hydraulic circuit design, component selection, component performance checking, and providing technical support to sales, assembly, and run-off teams, while also addressing troubleshooting, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives related to hydraulic systems.
Work You’ll Do:
- Hydraulic design clearance for production series machines of new orders
- Handle sales & service inquiries for production series machines and its variants
- Responsible for WAVE, VAVE, CI activities
- Technical support to find out alternate makes for dual vendor policy
Team:
Overview of team this role will be a part of hydraulic production engineering team at Ahmedabad location.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics or Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in hydraulic system design or fluid mechanics.
- Familiarity with hydraulic design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Creo, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in hydraulic calculations and fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency in CAD and hydraulic modeling software.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of electro-hydraulics & servo hydraulics.
- DFM/A – Design for manufacturing & assembly.
- Innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Adaptability of new technologies and techniques
