We are seeking a for an IAM Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the FA’s IAM program. The successful candidate will have experience with SOX & FTC compliance specifically around IAM controls. To be successful in this role, a good candidate should have experience in Microsoft Purview and Entra Identity Management & Application Integration.  Good experience in knowledge of SOX compliance (User Access Review, UAR), knowledge and experience in 3rd party product integration to the current FA environment and experience in handling and managing data protection of products ( specifically email protection)

What You'll Do 
Responsibilities for Senior IAM Engineer: -

 

  • Administer, configure, and maintain a variety of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms.
  • Oversee user lifecycle management processes, ensuring timely facilitation of both automated and manual provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and access rights across a wide range of applications and systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously update comprehensive technical documentation, which includes:
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IAM processes.
    • Configuration guides and runbooks for IAM tools.
    • System architecture diagrams and data flow representations.
    • User guides and training materials related to IAM services.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret IAM-related data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, including:
    • Generating reports on access patterns, user behavior, and authentication events.
    • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for IAM services.
    • Supporting audit and compliance reporting by extracting and presenting relevant access data.
  • Provide expert-level support for IAM-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution of access issues, authentication failures, and system errors.
  • Assist in ensuring IAM systems adhere to internal security policies and external regulatory requirements by reviewing configurations and processes against established standards.
  • Collaborate closely with application owners, IT operations, security architects, and audit teams to ensure effective integration and management of IAM solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize IAM processes, enhance security controls, and improve user experience through data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to IAM.
  • Implement and manage access controls, including role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and least privilege principles.
  • Establish identity governance frameworks and conduct periodic access reviews to ensure compliance with SOX, SOC, CJIS, and ISO 27001 regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation, evidence, and support during SOX, SOC, CJIS, and ISO 27001 audits.
