Role Overview
The Incentive Compensation Contractor will support the administration, payroll delivery, system maintenance, and ongoing implementation of our Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform. This role ensures high data accuracy across sales crediting, variable payout calculations, and sales team support.
Key Responsibilities
Commission Auditing & Payroll Delivery: Pull Salesforce data to manually audit and validate commission calculations against system outputs; finalize and deliver accurate monthly and quarterly payouts to Payroll on schedule.
System Administration & Implementation: Maintain data integrity within the ICM system (Xactly), support system implementation/enhancements, and execute setup for SPIFF programs and special incentives.
Compensation Plan & Life Event Processing: Administer plan distributions for new hires, transfers, and quota adjustments; calculate and process New Hire Draws, Leave of Absence (LOA) Draws, and termination/final commission settlements.
Sales Operations & Metric Adjustments: Audit and adjust Commissionable Net Annual Contract Value (NACV) and Services amounts in Salesforce based on predefined business criteria.
Support & Issue Resolution: Monitor Salesforce case queues, investigate rep inquiries regarding calculations or statements, and resolve disputes promptly.
Process & Statement Improvement: Audit sales statements for errors, identify workflow bottlenecks, and recommend design or process enhancements to improve clarity and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Incentive Compensation Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in commission administration, plan lifecycle management, and variable pay execution.
ICM Systems Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Xactly and Salesforce reporting/case management.
Numerical Acumen: High degree of comfort with quantitative analysis, complex formulas, and manual reconciliation of large datasets.
Process Precision: Proven track record of handling nuanced pay structures (draws, prorations, SPIFFs) with zero tolerance for payout errors.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to interface smoothly with sales representatives, revenue operations, and payroll teams.
