Job Description
We are looking to hire a Testing automation Engineer who is comfortable working in hybrid model. Having experience in Excellent knowledge in both automation and manual testing. We are expanding at a fast rate, and we need an innovator who shares our zeal for experimentation and collaboration to create value for our user base. Someone who is curious and confident with their ability in learning and implementing new features. You should strongly believe in collaboration and cooperation to produce quality results.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java in Eclipse IDE for web-based applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing to ensure application quality across multiple releases.
- Execute automation test scripts and analyse results to identify defects, ensuring early detection of issues in the SDLC.
- Actively collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and provide quality-driven feedback.
- Manage test cases, test cycles, and defect tracking using Zephyr, ensuring complete test coverage and traceability.
- Perform manual application testing for scenarios not covered by automation and for exploratory testing.
- Conduct performance and load testing using Apache JMeter to analyse system behaviour under various load conditions.
- Identify bottlenecks, analyse performance metrics, and share detailed performance reports with stakeholders.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
- Ensure adherence to best QA practices, testing standards, and quality metrics across projects.
Skills and qualification:
- 3+ years of experience in automation and manual testing
- Degree in engineering graduate or similar or equivalent work experience
- Excellent knowledge and at least 3+ years hands on experience in selenium web driver with java.
- Knowledge of common industry performance testing, JMeter.
- Added advantage having experience for Zephyr.
- Working knowledge of performance testing.
- Ability to take on new requirements at short notice.
- Troubleshooting/ debugging experience on bugzila.
- Excellent team-working and communication skills
- Have good Communication Skills.
