Innovation Specialist, Digital Innovation

Why this role?

Innovation Specialist masters an engineering area of expertise as SME, ensuring best-in-class competence and deliverables on own specific technological area. The role operate both in New Product Development and in Product Change management, across all business lines.

What will you be doing?

General

• Scout external partners in India and connect to the local star-up and partner network
• Support global and area innovation projects
• Responsible for technical consultancy and deliverables over specific domain, and over given timeframe, fulfilling requirements and specification received

Technical expertise

• Responsible for the technical output of given task assignment. Ensure to explore solution alternatives to carry out tasks.
• Responsible for the quality of such output and for defining and executing proper verification and validation plan
• Accountable for future-proofness of deliverables from own specialty point of view.

Ways of working

• Accountable for selecting suitable process, methods, tools etc. on specific competence area in order to ensure deliverable meeting stakeholder requirements
• Ensure to explore any solution alternative to carry out task
• Responsible that own output is properly documented

Develop capabilities

• Specialists ensure best practices and know-how are shared across the teams
• Specialists create proposal for engineering tools & process improvement or new development

Are you the one?

• M.Sc., B.Sc. or equivalent knowledge level in engineering / computer science
• 2-3 years of experience in similar role
• Basic knowledge of ML/AI/Gen AI and its applications/limitations, data analytics, cloud architecture and related technologies, design thinking
• Passion and experience in prototyping, both in software and hardware (electrical/electronic)
• Good understanding of system integration aspects
• Knowledge and experience of 3D printing is a plus
• Knowledge of Python is a plus
• Knowledge of applicable patents on the specific subject matter expertise
• Knowledge of applicable design tools
• Specific skills on own specialty area, if any
