The Workday Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying global and local Workday integrations for HCM and payroll, including full documentation. The role involves analyzing business requirements, resolving integration issues, managing change requests, and ensuring compliance with global guidelines, data privacy, and audit standards. This position also collaborates closely with functional SMEs, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure the effective delivery, maintenance, and optimization of Workday integrations.
Responsibilities:
The Enterprise HR Platforms Senior Integration Developer Workday is responsible for designing and developing local and global Workday Integrations for HCM and payroll, integration tests, deployment and all documentation.
This includes requirements analysis, business process analysis with functional SMEs and other system experts.
The role analyzes and fix integration production issues, and does impact analysis of global configuration and data changes in production
The role analyzes, designs, develops and deploys change requests, oversees failures, errors and warnings of scheduled integrations
Liaises with integration lead on integration approach, reviews and approvals
The role considers global vs local change guidelines, data privacy, and audit of production changes.
The role will actively manage the maintenance, the delivery and the optimization of Workday integrations based on the HR and business demands and initiative prioritization owned by HR in alignment with the global IT guidelines.
The role will collaborate with 3rd party software vendors, and oversees the Tier 3 3rd party support capacity and quality delivery for Workday integrations
Ensure delivery, quality and stability of Workday integrations, ensuring production control and compliance and audit and data privacy requirements together with the release manager, IT and HR stakeholders and 3rd parties
Understand the business and HR requirements suggesting solutions and improvements when and where applicable in close collaboration with the IT and HR stakeholders and 3rd parties.
Qualifications:
2-3 years professional experience as a Workday integration expert, a role for a global Workday implementation either in a global company or an international consultancy
Strong knowledge of Payroll and Payroll integrations as well as of other typical integrations
Strong experience with HR processes and best practices
Strong experience with Workday HCM data and Workday integration and reporting tools, certifications preferred (Studio and CCTPP)
Good understanding of IT Compliance
Strong Project Management experience
Broad and deep integration and middleware technology skills
Deep understanding of SaaS and PaaS architecture and technologies and impacts on global organizations in a hybrid landscape
Overall technical and functional knowledge of HR “on premise” and “cloud” system
