Overview
The Integrations Specialist supports the smooth flow of people data between our core HR systems, Workday and Dayforce, as part of Barry-Wehmiller’s Global Competency Center in Chennai.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data, technology, and process accuracy. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that employee information moves reliably across systems, assisting with integration monitoring, manual intervention, and foundational data management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Support & Monitoring
Monitor daily integration activity between Workday and Dayforce.
Investigate and resolve errors or discrepancies through manual intervention.
Escalate complex issues to senior analysts or technical leads where appropriate.
Maintain accurate logs of integration activities, exceptions, and resolutions.
Data Management & Quality
Support data entry and correction activities within Workday and Dayforce.
Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Assist with the preparation and loading of Workday EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders).
Maintain secure handling of confidential team member data in line with People Data standards.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Partner with People Technologies colleagues globally to align on data quality and integration processes.
Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to reduce manual intervention.
Document standard operating procedures and update knowledge base content.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, or related field.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic understanding of file formats (CSV, XML).
Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to learn enterprise HR systems such as Workday and Dayforce.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
Exposure to HR systems, especially Workday HCM or Dayforce.
Understanding of APIs, integrations, or data workflows.
Experience with data imports or interface support in a shared services or HRIS environment.
