Summary:
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to finance & controlling activities. You will assist in daily tasks such as data analysis, report preparation, document management, etc., which are essential for supporting the business decisions made by top management. This internship program provides hands-on experience in financial processes and exposure to how they contribute to strategic planning within a global organization like Valeo. It also offers opportunities to learn from experienced professionals who can guide you throughout your journey at Valeo India Private Limited.
Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing large datasets related to sales figures, production costs, market trends, customer behavior patterns, etc., using specialized software tools.
• Report Preparation: Compile information from different sources into comprehensive reports that help senior managers understand complex issues quickly & make informed decisions based on accurate data insights.
• Document Management: Organize & maintain documents related to financial transactions, contracts, agreements, invoices, receipts, etc., ensuring their integrity & easy retrieval when needed.
• Presentation Creation: Create visually appealing presentations using advanced PowerPoint skills to communicate key messages effectively across different audiences including clients/customers, investors, partners, stakeholders, employees, etc.
• Project Support: Provide assistance in specific projects assigned by supervisors or project leaders, which may involve coordinating with other departments within the organization.
Qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or similar fields of study.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to multitask & meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail & analytical thinking abilities.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles & financial reporting methods.
• Experience with data analysis tools & techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards & best practices in corporate finance & controlling functions.
• Interest in pursuing a career in finance & controlling roles after graduation.
