About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and research-oriented intern to support our Executive Search and Talent Intelligence team. The role involves conducting market mapping, industry research, talent analysis, and competitive intelligence across various sectors, especially BFSI and leadership hiring domains. The intern will work closely with recruitment consultants and leadership teams to generate actionable market insights and support strategic hiring mandates.
Key Responsibilities:

Market & Industry Research
• Conduct detailed primary and secondary research on industries, companies, and market trends relevant to executive hiring
• Analyze industry growth trends, organizational structures, leadership movements, and talent demand across sectors
• Track emerging business trends, new technologies, and market developments impacting leadership hiring
• Prepare industry reports, talent market outlooks, salary benchmarks, and hiring trend analyses
• Support market mapping assignments for leadership and niche hiring mandates

Talent Mapping & Executive Search Support
• Identify and map senior professionals, leadership talent, and key decision-makers across target organizations
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and competitor organization structures
• Research candidate backgrounds, career progression, compensation benchmarks, and market positioning
• Assist in executive search assignments by generating talent insights and target company analysis
• Support the team in preparing candidate and company intelligence reports

Customer & Client Insights
• Understand client hiring requirements, organizational structures, and role expectations
• Conduct surveys, interviews, and feedback analysis to understand hiring trends and talent availability
• Analyze client industries, workforce challenges, and talent acquisition strategies
• Develop sector-wise talent intelligence and hiring insights for internal teams

Competitive Intelligence
• Conduct competitor bench marking covering hiring patterns, leadership structures, compensation trends, and market positioning
• Monitor competitor expansions, leadership changes, partnerships, and business developments
• Prepare SWOT, PESTLE, and Porter’s Five Forces analyses for target industries and organizations
• Track executive movements and talent migration trends across companies

Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data using research tools, databases, and Excel
• Convert research findings into actionable business and recruitment insights
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, executive summaries, and research reports for leadership review
• Maintain accurate research documentation and reporting systems
Requirements
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- MBA / PGDM / Graduate pursuing or completed in HR, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or related fields
- Prior exposure to recruitment research, market intelligence, or consulting assignments will be an added advantage.
- Strong curiosity about industries, businesses, and leadership trends
Preferred Skills:
- Good understanding of market research and business analysis concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools
- Ability to work on multiple assignments with attention to detail
- Interest in executive search, recruitment consulting, and talent intelligence
