Mission and Goals
We are looking to Hire a Prin. Software Engineer(iOS) to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with the required Programming language. They are a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and are able to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.
Objectives
Works with little or no supervision. Is able to take general direction and formulate specific tasks to accomplish the desired end result.
Responsible for the design, development and implementation of complete software components.
Anticipates problems and future technical needs and takes necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.
Is looked upon to offer direction, guidance and mentoring to lesser skilled individuals on the team.
Completes analysis, development and/or maintenance of highly complex, undefined tasks.
May act as team lead or technical lead for a large portion of or an entire project.
Designs, develops and maintains high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product.
May assist in setting technical product direction by analyzing industry trends, competitive information and product requirements.
Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.
Able to build and maintain Web based Applications built using modern JS frameworks.
Able to work on building services in the Cloud using the Serverless Architecture
Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.
Employs expertise as a subject matter expert.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
Competencies
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
8+ years’ experience – Possesses advanced knowledge and skills in all required programming languages.
Good knowledge of developing iOS Apps using both Swift and Objective-C
Experience in developing applications using JavaScript based cross platform frameworks such as React Native is a plus
Experience in UI/UX development
Experience working on Serverless Architecture
Experience working on Browser Extensions is a plus.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts.
Good understanding of basic Design Patterns.
Experience with unit testing framework such as Jasmine/Jest.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
