We are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and providing technical support to staff. This role requires an understanding of network management, SaaS administration, and cybersecurity. The IT Administrator will work closely with other departments to ensure that all IT needs are met and that the company's technology resources are used efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to IT management. Responsibilities

As an IT Administrator, you will:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff either on-site or remotely.
  • Maintain IT documentation and inventory of assets.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Assist with planning and executing IT projects.
  • Monitor and report security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Help manage IT costs for support and infrastructure.
  • Communicate with other teams often to make sure the IT department meets their needs and helps the company reach its goals.
  • Provide support and assistance for numerous inhouse hosted events.
  • Possibly travel to other office locations to provide IT assistance. 

Requirements

To be successful in this role as an IT Administrator, you should have:

  • 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role in IT infrastructure management.
  • Administration of Office 365 / Google Workspace, MDM and Teams/Slack environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with systems monitoring and log management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Basic automation or scripting knowledge will be considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data security.
  • Customer service–oriented mindset when supporting internal teams.
  • Team player with a proactive, continuous improvement attitude.
