We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications (Microsoft Collaboration Administrator) to join our Global Voice and Telepresence -CAT IT Division
The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office, Bangalore
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Microsoft Collaboration Tools Analyst to join our team. The analyst will be responsible for effective license management, optimizing MS products, and managing SharePoint Online locked sites to ensure compliance with enterprise guidelines. Actively participate in our demand management process as well as plan feature releases into our tenant.
Key Responsibilities

• As a key member of our team, you will actively engage in our demand management process to prioritize and allocate resources, driving business growth and operational excellence. Additionally, you will plan and coordinate feature releases into our tenant to enhance capabilities and achieve strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Effective License Management: Oversee and manage MS product licenses to ensure compliance and cost efficiency. This responsibility ensures that the organization avoids unnecessary costs and legal issues related to licensing, thereby optimizing budget allocation and maintaining operational integrity.
• Optimization: Drive innovation by optimizing MS products to enhance our technological capabilities. By continuously improving and adapting MS products, the analyst helps the organization stay ahead in the competitive market, ensuring that our tools are always up-to-date and efficient.
• SharePoint Locked Site Management: Administer locked sites to ensure compliance with enterprise document management lifecycle. This ensures that the organization's data is secure and compliant with regulatory standards, protecting the company from potential legal and financial repercussions.

What you will have

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in administering and supporting Microsoft collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing management and compliance requirements.
• Experience with SharePoint administration, particularly in managing locked sites and ensuring compliance with records and information management guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data integrity and compliance.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Microsoft collaboration tools.
• 5 days work from office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong administrative expertise of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Microsoft certifications related to collaboration tools and SharePoint administration.

Work Environment

• Relocation is NOT available

Level Extensive Experience:• Facilitates in application design reviews and walkthroughs.• Creates and evaluates technical alternatives for complex applications.• Interprets application services such as API; integrates them with technical design.• Develops various, distinct and multiple technical application designs.• Prepares technical design documents and blueprints for applications.• Explores and evaluates application design considerations for multiple technologies.
Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
Level Working Knowledge:• Tracks problems associated with the quality and effectiveness of application software.• Researches the benefits and drawbacks of an organization's application software.• Drafts application software usage for the department's needs.• Provides instant support for end users of application software.• Implements a specific application software under the supervision of management.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Level Working Knowledge:• Follows policies, practices and standards for determining functional and informational requirements.• Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.• Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.• Participates in the preparation of detailed documentation and requirements.• Utilizes specific organizational methods, tools and techniques for requirements analysis.
