For over 17 years, we’ve proudly served our communities by providing end-to-end automotive solutions — from sales and service to fleet and upfitting — all under one roof. Our success starts with our people. We believe in creating an environment where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.

At Knight Automotive Group, we live by our Core Values: being accountable and taking great care of each other, always doing the right thing, focusing on our guests with empathy and helpfulness, staying respectful, genuine, and fun (“the sun, not the salt”), and never being satisfied — always striving for improvement and excellence. • Oversee cybersecurity, including endpoint protection, email security, identity and access management, MFA, vulnerability management, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, user permissions, security policies, and other company-wide technology platforms.
  • Oversee dealership management systems, CRM tools, OEM integrations, and other dealership-specific technology.
  • Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and internet connectivity.
  • Lead technology projects, upgrades, system implementations, and infrastructure needs for new dealerships, acquisitions, and facility expansions.
  • Manage technology vendors, software providers, telecommunications companies, licensing, and IT-related contracts and expenses.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, security standards, system documentation, and business continuity plans.
  • Lead and support internal IT staff responsible for day-to-day employee support, workstation setup, hardware, software, and other routine technology needs.
  • Partner with company leadership to identify technology solutions that improve productivity, reduce costs, strengthen security, and support future growth.
  • Uphold Knight Automotive Group’s Core Values — accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement — in all work and decision-making.

  • Opportunities for career advancement within a growing, family-owned automotive group
  • A supportive, family-oriented culture built on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement
QualificationsQualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in an IT leadership or senior infrastructure role; multi-location experience strongly preferred.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
