What can you expect in an IT Manager, Applications (IT Change Manager) role with TaskUs:

Think of yourself as someone who will focus on the people's side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies, with an emphasis on Ridiculously Awesome programs related to our proprietary technology!

Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: protect the IT systems of the organization, ensuring the changes that are made do not present an unacceptable risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project change strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.

  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.

  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.

  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.

  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.

  • Review, record, categorize and prioritize requests for change according to business objectives.

  • Conduct post implementation reviews after the implementation of changes.

  • Maintain all change documentation (policies, procedures, templates, etc.).

  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.

  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance.

  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.

  • Support and engage senior leaders.

  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness.

  • Track and report issues.

  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation; or 5+ years of experience in project management and resource management.

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or business administration or related study, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience. Work experience in the IT field may be substituted year for year for the education requirement.

  • Knowledge of Change Management practices and technologies.

  • Knowledge of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of development methodologies across various technologies.

  • Skill in establishing plans and setting objectives and goals that support an overall business strategy.

  • Skill in managing multiple priorities, prioritize tasks and work independently.

  • Skill in identifying problems, evaluating alternatives, and implementing solutions.

  • Skill in working collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse groups.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic culture.

  • Ability to deliver work within defined schedules, cost and quality.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple assignments, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate with a high level of effectiveness both verbally and in written formats.

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly.

  • Ability to lead, provide direction and articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

  • Ability to lead the creation of best practices and procedures.

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within all levels in a large organization.

  • Excellent active listening skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
