In this role, you will be responsible for managing sourcing intake, triage, negotiations, system workflows, and contract preparation to ensure high-quality service delivery for routine sourcing needs.

Our Regional Sourcing Operations team acts as the critical engine of our Center of Excellence (CoE), driving the global procurement transformation by supporting transactional and tactical sourcing activities across multiple regions and spend categories.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Execute end-to-end transactional sourcing activities, including Request for Proposal (RFx) processes, quick-bids, and renewals, while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting aggressive Service Level Agreement (SLA) turnaround times.

  • Responsibility 2: Collaborate with business stakeholders, Category Managers, and suppliers to provide negotiation-ready data, comparative matrices, and guidance on approved purchasing paths.

  • Responsibility 3: Ensure strict compliance with organizational sourcing and expense management policies by drafting contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) using approved templates and maintaining a clean audit trail for all sourcing events.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing operations, shared services, or purchasing, preferably within a large, global matrixed organization.

  • Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle, alongside advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Proven ability in data analysis and process discipline, with the capacity to manage high-volume workflows and evaluate complex supplier responses.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications like Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) are advantageous.

As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
