We are looking for an IT Support Technician, Audio/Video & Event Management to join our growing Enterprise Operations team at Cloudflare. This role enhances A/V capabilities for events at the Lisbon office, focusing on setup, processes, and documentation for seamless execution. The individual, with a strong technical background in A/V production and excellent communication skills, will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors, while also providing hands-on event support and exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of live events, collaborating closely with workplace, marketing, and event planning teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on event utilization of supported technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support, including troubleshooting and operational assistance during events.
- Assess the current A/V infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with our Enterprise Ops team to develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for A/V equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Manage our third-party vendor to provide technical support during events, ensuring smooth A/V operation.
- Research and recommend upgrades or additions to the existing A/V equipment.
- Create training materials and conduct sessions for employees on A/V equipment usage.
- Maintain an inventory of A/V equipment and manage its upkeep.
- Partner and collaborate with various IT teams and third-party vendors for A/V support.
- Increased customer satisfaction and higher NPS score in Lisbon, and EBC experience for external customers.
- Aligned IT Ops experience across offices through global collaboration.
- Enhanced technical support and knowledge resources for employees.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia or Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer science equipment and technology.
- Previous experience with advanced AV technologies and systems.
- Knowledge of event planning and coordination processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Experience in the Internet security industry is preferred.
