Develop and maintain Java/JSP/J2EE applications and RESTful APIs. Work with Spring, Hibernate, ATG, application servers (JBoss/WebSphere/Tomcat), Apache, build tools, and MySQL. Implement and integrate RESTful services and support existing JSP/servlet-based IMCM application.
The summary above was generated by AI

The application was built on Java/JSP servlets, Spring and Hibernate. Currently we are working on the API management project which needs experience on API development.

Since we asked for API developer profile and conducted interview based on the same skills. When we make the candidate to work on the current IMCM application they were unable to catch up the JSP servlets concepts and faced some issues in assigning tasks to them. They are fine with the API changes but we have work on the IMCM regular application too and that required JSP and Hibernate knowledge.

We need profiles with the below skillsets and experience:

  • Java api + ATG
  • 5+ years of application development using various technologies like Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Transactions), Web Services, XML/XSLT, Java script.
  • Experience on open-source tools and frameworks: Spring MVC, Spring boot, Hibernate, ANT, MAVEN, JUNIT.
  • Experience in working with RESTFUL Web Services and integrating RESTFUL API’s. Knowledge implementing RESTFUL API's is mandatory.
  • Experience on any of the standard Application Servers – JBOSS, Websphere, Tomcat.
  • Experience working with Apache web servers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational database structure and design using MySql.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
