Senior Java Developer

What you’ll achieve

As a Java Backend Developer, you will develop and support Java projects, delivering scalable and secure solutions for mission-critical applications. This role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining systems while troubleshooting and re-engineering as needed. With a strong focus on quality and performance, you’ll work independently on both technical and operational aspects to drive successful outcomes.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Develop robust applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

  • Implement design patterns, error handling, custom exceptions, and FHIR API development.

  • Work with JSON/XML data, microservices architecture, and containerization tools like Docker.

  • Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues across system components.

  • Perform Webservice testing using tools like Postman and maintain code quality standards with SonarQube.

  • Collaborate using Agile methodologies and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, MIS, or Engineering.

  • 6–10 years of IT experience, including 4+ real-time software projects and leading 2+ independently.

  • Proven expertise in developing large-scale or mission-critical applications, ideally in healthcare.

  • Passionate about programming and skilled in client collaboration (onsite or internal).

  • Experience in mentoring and guiding teams effectively.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of oAuth, OpenAPI specifications, and RDBMS/SQL.

  • Familiarity with concepts like versioning, filters, fallback patterns, paging, and caching.

  • Strong understanding of SOLID design principles and other design patterns.

  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., TFS) and code management.
