Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a motivated Junior Collections Associate to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for recovering outstanding payments through professional customer engagement and maintaining accurate account documentation.
You will join a fast-paced, customer-centric team dedicated to maintaining healthy financial relationships and achieving excellence in debt recovery.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Execute Collection Strategies: Conduct outbound and inbound calls to customers regarding overdue invoices, negotiate payment commitments, and follow up on broken promises to achieve monthly collection targets.
Manage Customer Accounts: Provide accurate account information and payment options while documenting every interaction in the system to ensure data integrity and transparency.
Ensure Service Excellence: Collaborate with senior team members to escalate complex cases and maintain high call quality and compliance standards in every interaction.
The ideal candidate will have:
Foundational Experience: Entry-level or relevant experience in customer service, collections, or a professional office environment.
Communication Expertise: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a proven ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and listen effectively to customer concerns.
Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and professional email writing.
Operational Flexibility: A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to work the United States shift (05:30 PM India Standard Time to 02:30 AM India Standard Time).
