We're growing rapidly and are seeking a highly motivated, we are seeking talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes, enabling faster and more reliable releases.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for container orchestration to streamline application deployment and scaling.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems and applications.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployment processes.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of system failures.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine operational tasks, improving overall efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Site to Site VPN Connections.
- Previous Experience with NodeJS, Next and NPM.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and GCP services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and source control systems (e.g., Git).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
