Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and talented QA engineer who will be responsible for designing and running manual and automated test cases to check the performance of the application or the software developed by the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and document software defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
- Develop and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Report and track defects using test management tools.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect other parts of the application.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions.
- Ensure test environments are set up correctly.
Requirements:
- 2- 3 years of quality testing experience required
- Test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Defect tracking tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- An ability to work independently across multiple projects, and to meet deadlines
- Experience in team handling and mentoring them
