Job DescriptionJoin us in building the next generation of cloud-based SaaS platforms for a global leader in contact center software. As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work with a team of experienced engineers to develop, test, and support Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. This role is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their software development skills in a cloud environment while contributing to production-ready systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
- Assist in designing and implementing scalable and reliable features.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for existing services under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and peers to deliver high-quality software.
- Learn and apply best practices for cloud-based application development.
Skills Required:
- 2+ years of software development experience as part of a Java development team using Spring Boot.
- Experience with Okta IAM is a plus
- Nice to have experience with distributed database systems like cockroach db, Cassandra
- Nice to have hands on skills with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with designing and building highly available and scalable applications.
- You will apply your expertise of cloud computing stack, broad software technologies, and open source tools to resolve what are often considered seemingly unsolvable cloud technology platform challenges for our customers.
- Nice to have working experience with one of the major public cloud platforms, preferably GCP. Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot and provide production support as needed.

- Minimum degree required: Bachelor
- Field of study required: Computer science, Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in Java development using Spring Boot.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts is a plus (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- General understanding of version control (Git).
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Docker or containerized environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, etc.).
