Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our team on a 6-month remote contract. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of .NET fundamentals and C# who is eager to gain hands-on experience working on real-world applications in a collaborative development environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using C# and the .NET platform.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement feedback.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Follow established coding standards and development best practices.

Requirements
    • Basic to intermediate experience with C# and the .NET framework/platform.
    • Strong understanding of .NET fundamentals, including object-oriented programming (OOP), classes, inheritance, interfaces, exception handling, and collections.
    • Understanding of software development principles and coding best practices.
    • Familiarity with Visual Studio and Git/version control.
    • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

    • Exposure to ASP.NET Core or Web API.
    • Basic knowledge of SQL Server and database fundamentals.
    • Familiarity with REST APIs.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.
