In this role, you will:
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced Commercial Loan Servicing representatives in interpreting and understanding complex policies as well as managing cross group projects
- Research, respond to and resolve complex inquiries
- Train others on complex loan agency inquiries and servicing language in loan documentation and interpretation, as well as an understanding of financial services and customer support
- Coordinate and reconcile all loan advances and payments with member banks and customers and books letters of credit
- Support loan trading and assignments
- Prioritize work and provide day to day work leadership and mentorship to the support team
- Lead or contribute to customer issue resolutions that require coordination amongst various teams
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

- 4+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- Serve as a subject-matter resource for syndicated, participated, member-bank, bilateral, and related commercial loan servicing activities.
- Review and interpret complex credit agreements, amendments, agent-bank notices, assignment documents, fee provisions, funding instructions, and other transaction documentation.
- Translate complex or nonstandard servicing provisions into required system, financial, validation, control, and recordkeeping actions.
- Lead the processing or resolution of complex advances, repayments, interest and fee events, rollovers, repricing events, modifications, assignments, paydowns, and maturity transactions.
- Assess situations in which agent-bank instructions, system records, executed documentation, or participant positions appear inconsistent.
- Determine the appropriate servicing action or escalation path within established authority, policies, procedures, and control requirements.
- Coordinate and reconcile complex principal, interest, fees, receivables, payables, cash movements, and participant positions.
- Lead resolution of complex or recurring reconciliation breaks, unmatched cash items, payment differences, system issues, and transaction discrepancies.
- Perform or oversee risk-based quality reviews of complex and higher-risk transactions.
- Review transaction calculations, system entries, approvals, supporting evidence, financial movements, and control execution.
- Identify material errors, missing approvals, documentation concerns, control gaps, or potential financial impact and ensure appropriate correction and escalation.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex servicing inquiries from employees, agent banks, customers, business partners, managers, and control functions.
- Lead issue resolution requiring coordination across Deal Administration, Quality Control, Collateral, Finance, Legal, Risk, Control, Technology, and other Operations teams.
- Provide clear escalation communication that identifies the issue, transaction impact, risk, required decision, responsible party, and target resolution.
- Respond to significant complaints or servicing concerns within assigned authority and coordinate senior-level review when required.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to S2 and S3 servicing employees.
- Train employees on participant loan structures, servicing documentation, system processing, reconciliations, quality expectations, controls, and exception handling.
- Support day-to-day work prioritization during critical transaction events, high-volume periods, staffing gaps, or time-sensitive deadlines.
- Review and provide input on procedures, job aids, control documentation, and training materials.
- Lead or materially contribute to root-cause analysis, defect reduction, process improvement, control remediation, and operational change initiatives.
- Identify trends in processing errors, delayed transactions, reconciliation breaks, repeat inquiries, or control failures and recommend sustainable corrective action.
- Partner with managers and control functions to strengthen servicing controls and reduce operational risk.
