Role Title: Lead Consultant - Digital Adoption Specialist

Location: Chennai

The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.

The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

We are seeking a Digital Adoption Specialist to join our team and lead WalkMe implementations across global enterprise systems. As a Digital Adoption Specialist, you will work across the business to identify use cases, design and build creative digital adoption solutions, and continually improve digital adoption content to maximize business outcomes and investments in technology. You will utilise your technical and people skills to simplify user experiences, accelerate adoption, and improve efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Lead discovery and planning sessions with stakeholders to assess adoption challenges

  • Design, test, and implement user-first in-app experiences using WalkMe and related tools

  • Host technical training calls and provide troubleshooting support

  • Define measurement strategies and provide actionable insights using WalkMe analytics

  • Collaborate with change managers, developers, and business units on an ongoing basis

  • Maintain an understanding of business stakeholders’ strategic goals to position yourself as a trusted expert and advisor

  • Report on solution outcomes and impact at regular intervals, providing recommendations to enhance UX and impact

Essential for the role

  • 3+ years in digital adoption, change management, or IT consulting

  • 1+ years hands-on experience with WalkMe or another DAP

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to learn technologies and explain technical issues to a variety of audiences, including enterprise architects, developers and management

  • WalkMe Builder Certification is preferred, although not required. (The expectation will be to go through the WalkMe Certification Program upon hire.)

Desirable for the role

  • Background in UX, change management, or project management is a plus

  • Experience working with enterprise platforms is a plus

  • Experience creating prototypes, wireframes, mockups, and user flows

  • Experience with visual design software applications like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

  • Experience with Information Architecture (IA) principles for organizing and structuring content

  • Experience conducting usability testing to validate design choices is a plus
