Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing scalable and robust systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product outcomes.
- Mentor engineers and foster a performance-first culture across teams.
- Defines the right processes for the team’s maturity level, balancing agility and discipline
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
- 6 to 9 years of experience in software/performance engineering.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. Experience in AWS would be a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation
- Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, Big Table/Dynamo/Cassandra, Redis.
- Experience in Elasticsearch (or any other Lucene based search engines) would be a plus.
- Experience in big data systems like Kafka, Spark, Flink would be preferable.
- Strong communication and documentation skills in addition to experience mentoring and leading technical teams
