Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of technical solutions to complement complex web-based EHR systems.
- Oversee day to day activities of a sprinting team, sprint planning and release milestone planning and performance management
- Write fast, efficient, and high-quality code that will help us deliver great value to our customers Test your work thoroughly and have a low tolerance for bugs
- Build a strong team and guide each team member to success through coaching, mentorship and accountability. Ensure each members embraces Qualifacts’ core values and culture and can quickly contribute to corporate goals
- Bring new ideas, solutions, and feedback to the team, Assist/Help Architect scalable and high-performance solutions, ensuring the best practices in software design and coding standards are followed.
- Work with Engineering leaders and actively drive the development life cycle from requirements analysis, feasibility estimates, design, code, pipeline promotion, documentation, testing, implementation, and support
- Ensure that the engineering team has appropriate understanding of the business requirements, which are based on the artifacts delivered by the Business Analysts and Solutions Architects.
- Troubleshoot software applications, provide technical support to achieve development objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

General Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required (computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry-related curriculum)
- 10+ or more years as full stack developer along with experience in web applications, end-user applications and back-end services
- 2+ years leading a software development team in an Agile environment
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success leading technical team members with experience coaching, mentoring and handling various supervisory performance management responsibilites
- Customer focused, driven to help our customers

- Self-learner and problem solver
- Accountability and Ownership
Technical Skills
- Experience with ES6
- Experience with one or more of the following React, Angular, or similar
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Past experience in software development (professional or personal projects)
- Strong understanding of test driven development
- Great work ethic and motivation to learn and improve
Nice to have:
- Experience with Django
- Experience with OpenAI and/or other LLMs
- Understanding of web networking including HTTP
