The Role

As Kyndryl marketing operations professional, your role will focus overseeing all financial aspects of marketing team, ensuring financial health through strategic planning, monitoring, and analysis of budgets. The Lead - Marketing Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, ensuring financial health through strategic planning, monitoring, and analysis of budgets.

Key Responsibilities Includes:

Budget Planning and Development:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for multiple countries or projects within the organization.

  • Develop comprehensive budgets aligned with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with CMO’s to gather budgetary requirements and forecasts.

  • Ensure budgets are realistic, achievable, and support long-term financial sustainability.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on budget status, forecasting trends, and financial performance metrics for senior management.

Budget Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Monitor expenditure against budgets and analyze variances.

  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management.

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for financial optimization.

Financial Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to mitigate financial risks.

  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with department heads and senior management to align budgetary goals with organizational objectives.

  • Provide guidance and support to department

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 6+ years of marketing experience with exp in strong background in financial management, budget planning and development

  • Experience in managing financial compliance and controls

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong analytical thinking

  • Strong business acumen skills

  • Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Drive, build, nurture, and own stakeholder relationships across Delivery, Marketing, Account Management, and Sales

  • Strong core marketing skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • MBA degree in marketing, business, or in a related field

  • Previous professional experience in a marketing /Finance budget management.

  • Strategic thinking & good research skills along with the ability to synthesize.

  • Extremely results-oriented and creative collaborator.

  • Curiosity & problem solving

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Able to communicate effectively to influence/ prompt action of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities.
