Job Description

We're looking for an innovative and visionary Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. As a Lead Product Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products, leading design initiatives, and mentoring a talented team of designers.

  • Drive the product design process from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality, user-centered design solutions
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product strategy and requirements
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product experiences
  • Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various digital products
  • Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision, aligning design goals with business objectives
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative solutions

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your best work
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams
  • Expert proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions
  • Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes and design specifications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions
  • Experience developing and maintaining design systems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • Knowledge of current design trends and emerging technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
