Primary Job Responsibilities
- Mentor and lead the design and development of automation and integration solutions for revenue platforms
- Deliver high-quality, scalable code aligned with best engineering practices
- Ensure backend systems, Salesforce data models, and business workflows are seamlessly integrated
- Oversee performance, scalability, and integration of Salesforce across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle
- Manage data flows between Salesforce and systems like Oracle, Sidetrade, Stripe, Informatica, Workato, and Snowflake
- Drive automation and proactive monitoring to improve system reliability and maintainability
- Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship across teams
- Define and enforce standards for design, coding, and CI/CD practices using Gearset and GitLab
- Partner with Product and Finance leaders to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Align engineering priorities with company goals through transparent communication and planning
- Maintain high standards of estimation accuracy, code quality, and system performance
- Identify and resolve risks, bottlenecks, and integration challenges early
- Uphold security, compliance, and data governance standards
- Explore and implement emerging Salesforce and AI capabilities (e.g., Agentforce, AI agents) to drive automation and predictive insights
- Evaluate and integrate modern tools to enhance the Finance tech stack
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 3+ years of team leadership
- Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud, and Payment Platforms, including APEX, Triggers, and Flows
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with systems like Oracle, Workato, Stripe, Informatica, and Snowflake
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of Salesforce AI ecosystem, including Agentforce and automation tools
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, GitLab)
- Demonstrated ability to architect secure, scalable, high-performance backend systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Background in Finance, FinTech, or B2B SaaS environments preferred
