Key Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Troubleshooting:

  • Implementation:

Configuring and deploying Juniper devices and solutions, ensuring they meet network requirements. 

  • Support:

Providing technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing questions and resolving problems. 

  • Network Knowledge:

Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security concepts, and Juniper-specific technologies. 

  • Juniper-Specific Expertise:

Experience with Juniper devices like ScreenOS and JUNOS, understanding of network management tools (FCAPS, SNMP), and experience with scripting (Shell, Python).

  • Experience: Typically 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Juniper technologies. 
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred. 
  • Certifications: Juniper certifications (JNCIA-J, JNCIE-ENT, etc.) are often a plus.
