Lead Software Engineer (TypeScript, Full-stack, Automotive software)
The HERE Navigation team is building a next-generation, highly customizable embedded navigation product with an interesting technical stack and architecture. In fact, the in-car navigation is just one element of the entire developed ecosystem, other building blocks are i.a. APIs, libraries and SDK. We are an international team of engineers, designers and product managers working in an agile environment and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Software Engineer to join our team.

As a Lead Software Engineer in our team, you will:
- Participate in the full engineering lifecycle from requirements clarification, design, development, integration, testing and release
- Build and shape features for the automotive industry. Build prototypes.
- Work on challenging problems and collaborate efficiently with highly technical colleagues across teams
- Design, develop and ship exciting new features for the automotive industry
- Contribute to the architecture and design of the product
- Help less-experienced colleagues to accomplish their tasks
- Work on customer hardware to test and benchmark features
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Very strong, proven professional experience with TypeScript
- Relevant experience in Web-app development
- Proficient with React, Node.js
- Experience with RxJS
- Open to dive into Kotlin for Android and UI toolkits eg. Jetpack Compose, React Native or Flutter
- Good English communication skills, ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex topics
