Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer - Non-Functional Testing to drive performance, resilience, scalability, and reliability validation of mission-critical systems built on modern cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will lead performance engineering and chaos testing initiatives, build scalable test frameworks, and establish reliability practices across distributed systems leveraging AWS cloud and industry-standard observability tools.
This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Performance Testing, Chaos Engineering, Infrastructure understanding, and Cloud-based test design, with strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
Responsibilities & Skills
Lead performance testing strategies (load, stress, endurance, scalability) using Gatling and JMeter.
Drive chaos engineering and resilience testing using AWS FIS and Gremlin to validate fault tolerance and recovery.
Work on AWS cloud infrastructure, validate auto-scaling, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and reliability patterns.
Leverage observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk for monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance diagnostics.
Build automated NFT frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
Possess strong knowledge of microservices, containers, Kubernetes, networking, and distributed systems performance tuning.
Provide technical leadership, define NFT standards, and mentor team members.
Experience & Qualifications
10-12 years of experience in Non-Functional Testing / Performance Engineering.
Proven hands-on experience with Gatling, JMeter, AWS FIS, Gremlin, and AWS cloud services.
Strong background in infrastructure performance analysis and observability tooling.
Scripting experience (Java, Python, Scala, or Shell) preferred.
Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
