Lead and mentor a technical support team to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize electrical and mechanical equipment in Coal-to-Chemical operations. Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance, commissioning of new systems, KPI monitoring, safety compliance, and support strategic capacity expansion and process optimization projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical support team in troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical and
mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. - Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of critical equipment and systems within
the Coal to Chemical operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced technologies and best
practices for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. - Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance
equipment reliability and lifespan. - Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, and commissioning of new systems
and equipment. - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and
implement corrective actions. - Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in all technical operations, fostering a
culture of safety and compliance. - Support the Head Project in planning and executing strategic initiatives, including capacity
expansion and process optimization projects. - Train and mentor team members to build technical capabilities and ensure knowledge
transfer. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive
innovation and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in technical support roles within large-scale industrial
operations, preferably in the coal, chemical, or energy sectors.
• Proven track record of managing maintenance and technical support teams in high-pressure
environments.
Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Advanced certifications in maintenance management or relevant technical fields are
preferred.
