Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Lean and Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead and implement process improvement programs across the organization. You will bring expertise in Lean principles, 6 Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks to lead, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead projects using Lean and 6 Sigma tools. Improve workflows to reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance efficiency
  • Data Analysis and Analyze main operational metrics and identify areas of inefficiencies. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
  • Training and Facilitation: Train teams and employees on Lean tools, techniques, and continuous improvement principles. Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other improvement workshops.
  • Leadership and Change Management: Lead teams to implement improvement projects. Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and track Indicators to measure the success of improvement projects. Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress and cost savings achieved. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Experience: 5 or more years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Process Excellence roles.
  • Certifications: Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt
  • Proficient in Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, with proficiency in tools like Power BI, Minitab, or similar.
  • Lacilitation, and change management skills.
  • You will report to Manufacturing Engineering Manager

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience working in manufacturing, logistics, or operations environments.
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 tools and digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
