Logistics Applications Analyst
Location: 10024 Investment Drive, Suite 200 Knoxville, TN 37932
Salary Range: $42,500.00 - 64,000.00 USD Annual
Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, administer, maintain, monitor, and support commercial off-the shelf (COTS) and custom developed line-of-business applications
· Maintain licensing information, manage user accounts, and permissions
· Maintain deployment and usage documentation for technicians and users respectively
· Develop Operational Knowledge of Business Processes to understand application uses and dependencies.
· Prepares users for major changes and upgrades by authoring and conducting training programs
· Learn how to Define, build, and support data integrations (primarily EDI)
· Monitor system utilization, throughput, latency, etc., to ensure continuous availability and optimal performance
· Troubleshoot accessibility and usability problems
· Resolve problems reported by end user
· Escalate problems to/work directly with vendors and consultants to resolve issues and implement upgrades and other modifications
· Specify system requirements and design solutions
· Test and install updates in a timely manner
· Provide general IT help desk support, escalating tickets as needed
· Manage tickets in ticketing system to prioritize support and document progress
· Submit information for annual budgets and monitoring on-going expenses
· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Skills Required:
· Windows 11 Professional
· Administer aspects of Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
· Data interchange (EDI) and T-SQL
· Exposure to one or more of the following applications:
- Trimble Suite, TMW, TMT, PeopleNet
- Transflo
- Microdea Synergize
- Anytrek
- PC Miler and/or Rand McNally
- Cleo
· Any of the following preferred:
- Citrix
- Salesforce
- Workday
· Any of the following helpful:
- Adobe CC Suite
- Smartsheet
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience
· Entry Level 0-1 years' experience
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
· Normal work schedule: Monday- Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
· After hours work and/or weekend work required, as necessary
· Majority of time spent in an office environment
· Unless remote, travel unlikely
