Job DescriptionThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. This role ensures timely deliveries, maintains accurate inventory records, communicates with suppliers and carriers, and resolves logistics issues to support efficient business operations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Schedule and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers.
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs documentation when required.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Resolve shipping delays, damaged goods, and transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Negotiate shipping rates and coordinate with freight providers.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
