Job Title – Logistics Manager (ISU)
Job Summary:
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operation in the country, ensuring to reach the business objectives, efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years to 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Familiar with India domestic logistics market and international freight from/to India
- Strong knowledge of ERP and logistics systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, etc.,).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in contract and project management.
- Experience in developing logistics & supply chain operating models and managing changes
- Knowledge of local and international logistics practice, trade regulations, and Customs Compliance
- Performance Measures:
- On Time Delivery, Damages, Clearance compliance, Cost /unit, inventory accuracy, etc.,
- Savings performance in Cluster
- Total cost to serve (e.g. cost to serve/revenue, /number of equipment)
- Cost Optimization performance
- Logistics contract coverage of consumed logistics services in area (following global service offering management)
- Health and safety
- Quality and timeliness of Logistics reporting in area
- What will you be doing?
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, including international freight and domestic shipment
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop and execute logistics strategies for the Cluster with Global and Area logistics, and business stakeholders in New Equipment (NBS), Modernization (MOD) and Service.
- Coordinates with local Country teams to ensure timely, quality and cost competitive supply of equipment and spare parts within the Cluster.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Logistics contract
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage a team of logistics and warehouse staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics service providers.
- Prepare and manage budgets for logistics operations.
