The Assistant Manager - Sales is responsible for meeting sales quotas, building and managing a sales team, and developing customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- To hit sales quota set by Management.
- To ensure sales personnel are knowledgeable in their field of assignments.
- To build a productive sales team in order to boost sales performance and achieve sales target.
- To assist sales personnel as and when are required i.e., Debtor’s collection, problematic customers, etc.
- To develop new business and maintain close relationship with customers.
- To follow up with overseas agents for rate enquired and shipment arrangement.
- To establish, maintain and build up good relationship with carriers, co-loaders and other vendors to obtain the lowest cost and better service.
- To settle and handle customers’ complaints and specific requirements.
- To formulate, plan and execute Target Accounts List and monitoring its progress.
