We are looking for a skilled Magento Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality e-commerce solutions on Adobe Commerce (Magento 2). Working as an individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team, you will own both backend and frontend delivery — from custom module development and third-party integrations to performant storefront experiences — while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate quality and velocity.
  • Develop, extend, and maintain custom Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce modules following platform best practices.

  • Build and integrate backend services including REST and GraphQL APIs, third-party ERP/PIM/payment integrations, and data pipelines.

  • Implement responsive, performant storefront experiences using the Magento frontend stack (Luma, Hyva) or headless PWA (Vue Storefront, Next.js).

  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Vertex Studios, Claude Code Assist or equivalent LLM tooling to improve code quality and delivery speed.

  • Write clean, testable PHP code and participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback.

  • Optimize site performance — caching strategies (Varnish, Redis), database query tuning, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch configuration.

  • Manage deployments through CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, Gitlab Pipelines, or Adobe Cloud pipelines).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across backend logic, storefront rendering, and platform integrations.

  • Collaborate with UX/design, product, and QA teams in sprint ceremonies, estimation, and feature discovery.

  • Stay current on Adobe Commerce releases, security patches, and ecosystem tooling — sharing insights with the team.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
