As our Mail Systems Engineer, you will:
- Design the core architecture of the Postfix/Exim worker nodes.
- Write and maintain the advanced MTA configurations that handle mail routing and IP binding.
- Implement the logic for dynamic IP selection using techniques like Postfix's transport_maps and multiple transports, or Exim's routers and transports.
- Тroubleshoot complex email delivery issues, analyze bounce messages, and optimize MTA performance for high throughput.
What you bring:
- Expert-level knowledge of Postfix or Exim - far beyond basic setup.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, high-volume email clusters
- Deep understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and feedback loops (FBLs).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Bash) for MTA-related tasks.
- English proficiency - upper-intermediate and higher.
It would be great if you also have:
- Knowledge of C programming language.
- Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) or broader cloud tools.
