You will join the Imunify Email team - the creators of a smart, automated email protection system designed to ensure clean outbound traffic and preserve IP reputation for hosting providers. Our focus is on building high-performance tools for spam detection, email infrastructure protection, and scalable deliverability.

As our Mail Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Design the core architecture of the Postfix/Exim worker nodes.
  • Write and maintain the advanced MTA configurations that handle mail routing and IP binding.
  • Implement the logic for dynamic IP selection using techniques like Postfix's transport_maps and multiple transports, or Exim's routers and transports.
  • Тroubleshoot complex email delivery issues, analyze bounce messages, and optimize MTA performance for high throughput.
Requirements

What you bring:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Postfix or Exim - far beyond basic setup.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, high-volume email clusters
  • Deep understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and feedback loops (FBLs).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Bash) for MTA-related tasks.
  • English proficiency - upper-intermediate and higher.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Knowledge of C programming language.
  • Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) or broader cloud tools.
