As a Tester, your role is to be the guardian of software perfection. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, using your expertise to craft, execute, and elevate testing reports using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. Your expertise will ensure that new and enhanced systems, along with their intricate interfaces, perform flawlessly.
In this role, you’ll be writing and executing test plans and orchestrating automated scripts and programs to unveil the mysteries hidden within the code. You’ll dive into the heart of software, understanding its every nook and cranny, and testing it to ensure it behaves exactly as intended. Your eye for detail will spot bugs and integration hiccups before going into a production environment .

Required Skills and Experience

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for mainframe applications during modernization and migration programs.
• Analyze and validate application behavior while transitioning from legacy platforms (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM) to modern stacks (Java, microservices, cloud).
• Support end-to-end testing for migration to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including data validation and business process continuity.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and automated testing frameworks as required.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to establishing QA/testing best practices tailored to mainframe modernization programs.
• Work with DevOps and CI/CD teams to integrate testing into modernization pipelines.
• Document test results, prepare test reports, and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
• Over 5 years' experience in Mainframe Application testing
• Experience with test strategy and planning, execution, and defect management
• •Proficiency in programming languages and testing tools
• •Demonstrated ability to collaborate across project teams

Preferred Skills and Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

•ISTQB Certification (International Software Testing Qualification Board)
