Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our Experian IT Services function.
Within the team, you will be responsible for z/OS, JES2, Vendor supplied software and support the general health of the mainframe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• z/OS system software installation, maintenance and configuration
• Hardware configuration
• z/OS Security software installation, maintenance and configuration – certificates, USS etc. As part of this role, you will be required to be on call 1 in 5 weeks.
Skills and Technology Requirements
• z/OS installation & configuration
• HCD and experience of z15/z16, cart and disk infrastructure deliveries
• Security and certificates including encryption, ciphers, etc
• Assembler and user exit coding
• Unix Systems Services
• Broad ISV exposure, including Broadcom and BMC products
• SMPE
• WLM
• TSO/ISPF
• REXX
• Parallel SYSPLEX
• Excellent problem solving skills combined with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
