Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Manager - Corporate Strategy located in Chennai.
What a Typical day looks like:
- Analyzing macroeconomic, demographic and industry specific indicators to identify and clearly communicate key business trends for Consumer & Lifestyle Electronics industry, which includes Consumer Appliances, Smart Home, Personal Care etc.
- Assess & identify promising target markets and help Lifestyle business group to quantify opportunities at market & customer level
- Assist/Construct market sizing model for Lifestyle Electronics product categories and make forecasts and projections based on existing industry data
- Track industry activities on a weekly basis (product launches, M&A, financial releases, expansion, company strategic initiatives, etc.)
- Do incisive research on companies as well as competitive benchmarking covering product portfolio, financials, footprint, & strategy for Appliances, Smart Home, Personal Care companies
- Monitor and maintain market models and industry databases ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
- Demonstrate sophisticated analysis skills - seeking out and piecing together fragments of information, extrapolating, building and applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns and drawing conclusions from partial data
- Prepare thought-leading, actionable PowerPoint presentations, working in a collaborative structure.
- Review business/trade publications, industry reports and other sources to gather/ synthesize/interpret data on markets, industries, geographies, products, etc.
- Attend industry conferences.
- Create interactive dashboards related to market intelligence along with team
- Developing further research and analysis based of corporate mandates and management theses.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Good understanding of Consumer & Lifestyle Electronics industry
- Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, S&P CapIQ, Euromonitor is a bonus
- Good PowerPoint presentation making skills
- Strong teamwork capabilities/collaboration
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a preferred option
- Experience in building Tableau dashboards
- Experience within or related to market research, forecasting, consulting or go-to-market strategy.
