Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting**: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns, and issues. Generating reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Compensation and Benefits Analysis**: Reviewing and evaluating compensation and benefits packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulations. Making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Employee Relations**: Assisting with employee relations matters such as investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. Providing guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- HR Policy Development and Implementation**: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensuring policies are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Training and Development**: Supporting the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Evaluating training effectiveness and recommending improvements.
- HR Systems Management**: Administering and maintaining HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR-related databases. Ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Compliance and Legal Support**: Monitoring changes in employment laws and regulations. Assisting with compliance audits and ensuring HR practices adhere to legal requirements.
- Strategic HR Planning**: Contributing to the development of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Providing insights and recommendations based on HR data and analytics.
- Project Management**: Leading or participating in HR projects such as system upgrades, processimprovements, or organizational restructuring initiatives.
- Employee Engagement and Retention**: Developing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention. Conducting surveys and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- HR Metrics and KPIs**: Tracking and analyzing key HR metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure HR effectiveness and support decision-making. In summary, a US HR Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting various HR functions through data analysis, policy implementation, compliance management, and strategic planning to contribute to organizational success and employee satisfaction.
Must have qualification:
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data validation to manipulate and analyze large datasets related to employee demographics, compensation, benefits, and performance metrics.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Ability to perform complex data analysis using Excel, including statistical analysis (e.g., correlations, regression analysis) to derive insights into HR trends and patterns. Creating visually compelling charts and graphs in Excel to present findings effectively.
- HR Metrics Dashboard Development: Designing and maintaining HR metrics dashboards in Excel or other tools like Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rates, employee engagement scores, recruitment metrics, and training effectiveness.
- HRIS Integration and Data Management: Experience in extracting, cleaning, and importing HR data from HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) into Excel for analysis. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the data manipulation process.
- Forecasting and Modeling: Using Excel for HR forecasting and predictive modeling, such as predicting staffing needs based on turnover rates and growth projections. Utilizing Excel's What-If Analysis tools for scenario planning in HR planning and budgeting.
- Automated Reporting: Developing automated reporting templates and macros in Excel to streamline HR reporting processes. Automating routine tasks like data extraction and report generation to improve efficiency.
- Compliance Analysis: Utilizing Excel to analyze compliance-related data, such as tracking adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, and preparing compliance audit reports.
- Training and Documentation: Creating training materials and documentation in Excel for HR team members on advanced Excel techniques, data analysis methodologies, and reporting best practices.
- Integration with Other Tools: Integrating Excel with other HR systems or software (e.g., payroll systems, applicant tracking systems) for seamless data transfer and analysis.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance HR reporting capabilities in Excel, staying updated with Excel's latest features and functionalities relevant to HR analytics.
