Job description:

You will lead the team and oversee the design and implementation of equipment and systems suitable for the manufacture of medicinal and aesthetic products, ensuring compliance with GMP practices and all applicable regulations, are fit for purpose and offer optimal total cost of ownership.

With your team, you will lead the technical aspects of engineering projects associated with manufacturing equipment, resolve problems, and ensure continuous improvement in manufacturing equipment performance, cost, quality, and production.

You will also collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and production teams to meet business and production goals.
Key responsibilities:

Research and evaluates manufacturing equipment technologies and identifies opportunities for their implementation where appropriate

In collaboration with Reliability Engineers, assess maintenance and calibration needs of manufacturing equipment and provides technical insights as necessary

Prepare plans, procedures and instructions to translate current/ future business needs and challenges into effective operational strategies, plans and procedures for Galderma
-
Prioritize and coordinate transformation and change of policies, processes, procedures and instructions as they relate to manufacturing equipment design and operation

Provide Subject Matter Expertise as it relates to manufacturing equipment design and operation to all stakeholders

As and when requested, provide technical advice and expertise to assist troubleshooting and maloperation of manufacturing equipment

Guide and consult Galderma employees on operation and use of manufacturing equipment within responsible area, with focus on strategic and operational activities

Establish and maintain potential relationship with all stakeholders within and outside the organization

Resourcing manufacturing equipment related projects with the right competence
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Biosciences or Industrial Sciences area or equivalent experience/qualification

Minimum of 8 years’ experience with process engineering projects

Experience in a GMP environment

Professional level in Swedish and English
