Role Definition
Delivers business solutions that are globally effective and applicable to support the execution of the procurement vision and strategy.
Responsibilities • Leading a group of individual contributors that deliver project associated with lean processes, global market understanding, tools, and systems. • Managing the overall design and development of solutions, collaborates with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepares implementation plans for successful deployment. • Executing key strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and development of associated tools & training. • Driving adoption and identifying continuous improvement opportunities/projects, including standardization and simplification, and mitigating risks.
• Have proven team management experience
• Total experience requirement is 12-15 Yrs.
• Have hands on, in depth supply chain related experience
• Be Analytical, use logical and objective approach to make important decisions
• Be skilled at leading change efforts

Degree Requirement - Bachelors or Masters in Engineering and must have proven team management experience

Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
Level Extensive Experience: • Analyzes business processes, identifies alternative solutions to outdated processes and assesses their feasibility. • Evaluates financial, cultural, technological and other factors that need to be addressed. • Recommends new approaches that seek the use of advanced technology. • Establishes requirements for large changes in the overall mission, roles, responsibilities and processes necessary to make business improvements. • Participates in defining organizational strategic goals and purposes; defines how to gather and keep customers. • Works to overcome BPI resistance from managers, the labor force and other groups.
Data Analytics: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data; ability to discover useful information, draw logical conclusions, and support decision-making.
Level Working Knowledge: • Collects required data through various data sources and documents them for evaluating trends and activities. • Assists in preparing charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to represent the results obtained from data analysis. • Researches business-related data, analyzes, interprets, and presents findings to management. • Recognizes and assesses problems, opportunities, and methods for improving existing business performance. • Utilizes designated data analysis software to analyze the data.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Level Working Knowledge: • Follows organizational guidelines and procedures for conducting a cost-benefit analysis. • Participates in the development of a cost-benefit analysis. • Calculates common measurements such as NPV and ROI. • Documents and measures direct and indirect costs and projected benefits. • Resolves common errors or omissions in developing the analysis.
Category Management: Knowledge of category management within an organization's goods and services sector; ability to use this knowledge to analyze and improve the end-to-end procurement process and maximize business profitability.
Level Working Knowledge: • Assists senior category professionals in creating categories based on spend analysis, market analysis, and other stages of the category management lifecycle. • Follows established procedures, guidelines, and approval level requests to perform procurement activities. • Identifies and documents challenges related to category management. • Participates in defining goals, KPIs, and objectives of the assigned category. • Utilizes basic tools and technologies to analyze procurement management data.
Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.
Level Working Knowledge: • Summarizes the mission, vision and objectives of the procurement function. • Follows procurement regulations and contract specifications to perform tasks. • Participates in meetings regarding relevant regulatory considerations and agencies of the procurement function. • Implements regular procurement programs, initiatives and issues. • Documents the steps and requirements of the procurement process.
