About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven hands on Sales Operations Manager who will be reporting to Senior Director for Sales and Territory Operations, who will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Salesforce CRM with deep expertise in Accounts, Opportunities, Territories, Cases, and User Objects. This role requires a blend of technical CRM expertise, sales acumen, creative problem-solving, and proven AI implementation skills to optimize sales processes, drive pipeline health, and support organizational growth. This role will address operational issues impacting Sales Operations, have a clear understanding of CrowdStrike Sales processes, policies and champion recommendations to improve and scale Sales Operations operating model during Annual Operating Plan (AOP).The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can lead operational initiatives, ensure data quality and enrichment, manage complex hierarchies, and implement AI-driven use cases such as pipeline forecasting, lead scoring, account deduplication, and territory optimization. This individual will also be responsible for mentoring a team and serving as a trusted partner to senior sales leadership with hands on ability to roll up sleeves when needed.
What You'll Do:
Salesforce Expertise & Data Quality:
Serve as SME in Salesforce for Accounts, Opportunities, Territories, Cases, and User Objects.
Drive case management optimization, ensuring efficient case routing, resolution workflows, and SLA adherence.
Oversee user provisioning and hierarchy management across global sales teams.
Lead data quality, enrichment, and governance programs, leveraging AI tools to detect duplicates, cleanse records, and enrich account information.
Sales Operations & Pipeline Management:
Partner with Sales Leadership to design and execute pipeline frameworks, ensuring visibility into forecast accuracy, deal velocity, and coverage.
Enable or Partner with Territory Operations during quota planning, territory modeling, and account hierarchy management that align to GTM strategy.
Provide actionable insights and reporting that drive smarter sales decisions.
Bring sales-first thinking into operational processes, ensuring alignment to revenue growth.
AI, Process Innovation & Faster Execution:
Implement AI-driven use cases such as:
Predictive pipeline forecasting
Lead/opportunity scoring
Territory Hygiene
Case prioritization and auto-resolution support
Drive policy-driven process documentation using AI tools to create scalable, standardized playbooks.
Automate repetitive workflows to enable faster execution and reduced cycle times across Sales Operations.
Continuously explore emerging AI/automation solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnerships:
Build and maintain strong business partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and RevOps.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by aligning operational initiatives with strategic sales goals.
Translate complex technical processes into clear, business-focused narratives for executives.
People Leadership:
Lead and mentor a high-performing Sales Operations team.
Establish KPIs, provide coaching, and foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and execution excellence.
Build an environment that embraces continuous improvement and innovation.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years of experience in Sales/Revenue Operations or related functions with at least 4+ years in management.
Salesforce CRM SME in Accounts, Opportunities, Territories, Cases, and User Objects.
Proven success in pipeline management, case management optimization, and territory planning.
Strong track record of AI/automation implementation in Sales Operations (forecasting, deduplication, workflow automation, etc.)
Proficient/Fluent Salesforce.com user, strong understanding of custom objects (and customizing Sales Cloud), standard objects (user object, collaborative forecasting)
Experience with data loading tool like Salesforce Inspector, ETM and Salesforce Maps territory carving and balancing activities
Experience managing, configuring, and creating role hierarchy and forecast hierarchy in Salesforce.com
Strong knowledge of Collaborative Forecasting and how to enable forecast managers and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast reporting
Experience with sharing rule settings and Security Setup in Salesforce.com related to role hierarchies
Clear understanding of Lead to Opportunity business processes with an emphasis on Territory and Role/Forecast Hierarchy
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to question the status quo and think outside the box
Demonstrated ability to enable faster execution through process simplification and automation.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders.
