Job SummaryThe Manager, Shipboard Operations Finance is a fixed-term contract position based in Monaco (hybrid) for a temporary period of up to 6 months.
Term Period: March - September 2026
In this role, you will participate in the elaboration of the company’s budgets/forecasts, financial analysis, and reporting to support our aggressive new-build and M&A schedule. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the financial health and efficiency of Cruise Hotel Operations, Marine Operations, and other relevant areas.
Essential Functions- Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Assist in the development of budgets for Cruise Hotel Operations and Marine Operations.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget alignment with company goals.
- Steer the annual budgeting process and provide rolling forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying key drivers and trends.
- Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, CAPEX, acquisitions, and new ship builds.
- Active contribution in providing insightful recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
- Generation of accurate and timely financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools to create visualizations that enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Periodical monitoring and reporting on actual financial results compared to budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to long-term financial planning, helping to shape the company’s strategic direction.
- Assess risks and opportunities, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support various financial scenarios.
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects and initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the cruise or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Able to work cohesively as part of a team and create an optimistic culture amongst the team while promoting a sense of curiosity to learn and grow
