The Manager of Web Production will lead a global team to ensure efficient delivery of web projects while managing workflows, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

As the Manager, Web Production on the Web Strategy team, you will be responsible for managing a globally distributed team of web producers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of web facing initiatives with full governance.
You will own the intake, grooming, prioritization, QA and delivery of web publishing tasks in an operationally efficient manner for the website. The scope of the role includes team management, program and project management, website / CMS operations management as well as hands-on web production.
You will act as a key partner to x-functional stakeholders for their web facing needs and help drive those initiatives with a strategic lens in a standardized, timely and operationally efficient manner. This is a highly visible role, which requires a growth mindset, great attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Primary responsibilities
Team leadership and management
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of global web producers
- Oversee daily production workflows, ensuring timely, accurate and brand-compliant web publishing
- Set clear priorities and goals for the team, while managing work load and resource allocation
Web production governance and QA
- Maintain brand, design and accessibility standards across all web experiences
- Establish QA process and editorial checks before pages go live
- Maintain production playbook(s) and publishing best practices to ensure consistency at scale
Cross-functional partnership and collaboration
- Partner closely with stakeholders across marketing, content, UX, and product teams to ensure tickets are fully groomed, scoped and ready for production
- Guide stakeholder discussions towards strategically aligned, operationally efficient and scalable web production solutions
- Lead scheduled merchandising meetings with regional stakeholders
- Partner with localization and growth teams to execute regional merchandising and personalization initiatives
- Facilitate meetings to align on upcoming priorities and ensure product readiness
- Serve as the point of contact for web production timelines, capacity planning and deliverables
Run the business
- Personally execute high priority, time-sensitive or embargoed content updates in the CMS
- Project manage large website projects with a clear roadmap and path to on-time delivery
- Provide operational reporting for monthly and quarterly business reviews
Platform and process optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve production velocity
- Advocate for tooling, automation, and CMS development to improves team productivity, platform capabilities, and operational scale with PM and engineering leaders
Experience and requirements
- 10+ years of work experience in a large B2B or B2C company with a global presence
- 5+ experience in a web production, content management and/or CMS operations role in a large enterprise website environment
- 4+ years of people / team management experience
- Proven experience managing global teams and distributed workflows across time zones
- Deep understanding of CMS systems (e.g. Contentful, AEM, etc), web governance, and publishing operations
- Strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities with extreme attention to detail
- Experience scaling web production operations and managing resource allocation for optimal and timely delivery
- Experience managing large ticket queues and efficiently triaging and expediently processing requests, using good business judgement and a long term vision.
- Experience with agile workflows and tools like Jira and Asana
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with experience working in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and multiple communication streams at the same time
- Understanding of localization flows and content governance at global scale is preferred
